As the City of Waukee continues its rapid growth, Waukee Towne Center is taking shape at Hickman Road and Alice’s Road as a premier lifestyle destination and future gathering place for the community. Opening in late spring 2027, the 355,000-square-foot, 62‑acre development is designed to deliver a level of experience not currently found in the state — bringing together leading retail, unique dining, and diverse entertainment all in one cohesive destination.
Waukee Towne Center is envisioned as a place to shop, dine, and enjoy time together, with experiences designed for all ages. At its core is a six-acre lake featuring a fountain display and scenic walking and biking paths that connect to the regional trail system, making it easy for nearby residents to walk or bike directly into the center and explore throughout the day.
